BIG Brother winner John Loughton’s brother has been charged with the murder of his third sibling.
Roddy Loughton, 26, was declared dead following an incident at a home in Edinburgh on December 17.
His brother Stephen, 29, has appeared in court charged with his murder.
The pair are both brothers of 31-year-old John Loughton, who bagged £50,000 after winning Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack a decade ago.
He studied sociology and politics at Stirling University when he entered the spin-off show and is now a social entrepreneur.
His devastated family released a statement paying tribute to Roddy, who had two daughters.
It read: “Roddy was a loving dad, son and brother who had a sensitive soul, great sense of humour and adored his kids.
“We want to thank all the family, friends and local community for their well wishes and support at this time.
“We would request and appreciate people respect our desire for privacy at this very difficult time as we come to terms with our loss.”
Roddy was discovered dead in the early hours of Monday and police later confirmed they had arrested a 29-year-old man.
Steven Loughton appeared in private at Edinburgh Sheriff Court charged with murder.
He made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody to appear in court next week.
Tributes have flooded in for Roddy as news of his death spread.
