Who is Noel Edmonds, how old is he and what is his background?
Noel Edmonds is a 69-year-old TV presenter and former radio DJ.
The thrice-married telly host was born in 1948 in London and, after sending out tapes across Europe, his first showbiz job was as a newsreader for Radio Luxembourg.
From there he bagged a job hosting various shows on BBC Radio One in 1969, where he would remain until 1983.
During the 1970s his TV career also took off as he hosted Top Of The Pops, and kids’ show Multi-Coloured Swap Shop on Saturday mornings.
He also presented at the 1980 Eurovision Song Contest, and hosted telly shows Lucky Numbers and Juke Box Jury, as well as the original motoring series Top Gear.
It was on Top Gear that he first caused controversy by branding the Fiat Strada “not very good” which angered Fiat, who threatened to sue the BBC.
What is Noel’s net worth?
As of 2017, Noel is estimated to be worth about £75m.
In April 2018, The Sun Online revealed that Noel is pitching a revival of Noel’s House Party.
A TV source said: “Noel is involved in planning a pitch alongside a production team who will take it to TV execs.
“He’s open to the show being modernised, but the basic format worked — that’s why it’s so fondly remembered.”

The Sun revealed that the TV host is the highest-paid contestant in I’m A Celeb history.
The Deal or No Deal host, who will be this year’s late arrival on the ITV show, is being paid around £100,000 more than football manager Harry Redknapp, 71, who is this year’s second highest earner.
Is Noel married?
Noel has been married three times and is currently husband to Liz Davies, who he met when she worked as a make-up artist on Deal Or No Deal.
They wed in July 2009 and live in the West Country together.
Before that Noel was married to Helen Soby between 1986 and 2004, with whom he has four daughters called Charlotte, Lorna, Olivia and Alice.
His first wife was Gillian Slater, and their marriage lasted between 1971 and 1982.

The series usually runs for about three weeks and if it follows the previous format and length fans can expect this year’s jungle king or queen to be crowned around the second week of December.
This year the show is presented by Holly Willoughby and Declan Donnelly as Ant McPartlin takes an extended break from TV.
If you haven’t had your fill of the jungle, you can switch over to ITV2 for Extra Camp immediately after the main show for behind the scenes footage, guests and interviews.
Viewers are invited to join the lively debates via social media and the app as well as putting their questions directly to the campmates live in the studio once they’ve left the Jungle.
