New photo Coronation Street fans amazed as Jack Webster gets a new leg following amputation

CORONATION Street fans were brought to tears during the second episode on Friday night after Jack Webster got his new leg following his amputation.

Jack, played by Kyran Bowes, was seen with his father Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) as he went to the hospital to get checked over following a fall during a charity one-legged race he’d organised.

 

As one nurse made sure he was alright, another entered the room and pulled a prosthetic leg from a bag and placed it on the end of Jack’s left leg, which had been amputated.

Both Jack and his father Kevin looked excited as Jack slowly attempted his first steps.

Taking to Twitter to express how much the scenes had touched their heart, one fan wrote: “The scene with Jack taking his first few steps with his new leg was so touching. Such a good little actor #corrie.”

Another posted: “Jack, bless his heart!!! Breaks mine every time!!! What a trouper!!!”

 

While another viewer tweeted: “How amazing was Kyran Bowes tonight? Portraying this storyline with such maturity. What a talented young actor. Well done Kyran.”

And another shared: “Good on you bringing a real story is your first step too #Corrie of disabled struggling to have normal life AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE #Jack #Kevin #Corrie.”
