RAMBO war hero Mike Allen was last night promised a new home after his log cabin retreat – built to help his PTSD – was bulldozed by officials.
Afghan veteran Mike, 37, was left homeless after his remote sanctuary in the Welsh mountains was razed destroying all his possessions.

The former Lance Corporal spent two years hand building the haven to give him somewhere to live after splitting from his wife as he battled PTSD picked up from seeing his comrades blown up.
He returned from the Remembrance Sunday weekend to find it destroyed by officials from Natural Resources Wales.
But yesterday he was inundated with offers of help from charities and our readers after The Sun highlighted his plight.
And Caerphilly Council yesterday pledged to find him a home where he can take his two children Honey, eight, and six year-old Shea.

Mike said: “It was gutting to lose my home I spent two years building but I’m really grateful to The Sun for highlighting the issue and hopefully I’ll find somewhere to live soon so I’m not homeless for Christmas.
“It would be great to have a place of my own.”
Mike, who has been sleeping on friends’ sofas, was also offered help by the homeless veterans’ charity Stoll, and Help for Heroes.
The ex-Royal Welsh soldier was diagnosed with debilitating Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder after seeing pals blown up by bombs in Afghanistan while on a seven-month tour in 2011.
He left the Army in 2014 and his marriage collapsed and he had to kip on friends’ sofas before building his wooden cabin — without forestry permission — in Wattsville, South Wales.
Now Mike has vowed to create a new home in the forest in Spring next year.
But this time he plans to get permission and hopes to get financial backing to turn it into a peaceful retreat for others suffering PTSD.
Mike, who does ground work for money, said: “I’m going to wait until the Spring and then set about building a bigger better place where others who suffer PTSD like me can come and relax and get away from it all.

“The mental health help available for veterans is terrible, and does far more damage than good.
“I wanted to go away from society where I saw so much stress — I found a way to fix myself at no cost to the taxpayer.”
He added: “The cabin was my home, my sanctuary. It was curing me. I wouldn’t be alive today without it.”
Mike also created a gym, flower garden and a treehouse for his children at the spot.

He said: “I was looking forward to next Spring when all the flowers were going to come out.”
A spokeswoman for Caerphilly Council said it could not comment on individual cases but will provide the necessary support to Mike to find him accommodation.
