ALFIE Moon is set for the mother of all shock in EastEnders next week when he discovers he is dad to a newborn daughter.
The Walford fan favourite heads to the Square planning to speak to his estranged wife Kat Moon, leaving her stunned when he reveals he’s sorry for everything and has come to win her back.
Panicked that he’ll see Hayley and the baby and put two and two together, Jean Slater steps in and orders Alfie – played by Shane Richie – away.
But as he goes off to fetch the three sons he shares with Kat, Jean tries to put her off of seeing them, leaving everyone confused by her behaviour.
With Hayley’s party in full swing, Alfie tries to create a distraction and invites various locals over to join the celebrations.
With the Slater house at full capacity, Alfie sneaks back in and goes to talk to Kat – Jessie Wallace – who’s locked herself in the bathroom.
The pair end up having a heart to heart and a delighted Kat is soon reunited with her boys.
But, despite Jean’s best efforts to keep them apart, Alfie ends up finding Hayley’s daughter and can’t resist having a little cuddle with the tiny tot.
As Jean watches on horrified, Hayley – Katie Jarvis – arrives and reveals she’s the baby’s mum, leaving Alfie totally floored.
Will this change things with him and Kat?

Alfie and Hayley had a one-night-stand in Spain where their daughter was conceived but Alfie believed that Hayley had a termination after she revealed she was pregnant.
So far Jean is the only Slater to know the truth, but it surely can’t be long before Kat discovers her husband has a daughter with her cousin.
