LEGENDARY Diva Melina has thrown the door open to a WWE return at Evolution.
And the 39-year-old, real name Melina Perez, has her eyes on “making magic” with Naomi.
The superstar joined Vince McMahon’s promotion in 2004 and made her name as manager of former tag team champions MNM.
The self-declared “most-dominant Diva”, famed for her sexy splits entrance into the ring, went on to become a huge success as a singles competitor winning the women’s title on five occasions before leaving the company in 2011.
However, the historic first-ever all female Evolution pay-per-view takes place on Sunday 28 October and a number of pioneers from the women’s division will be making an appearance.
And speaking to Ring the Belle, Melina has dropped a huge hint she would be open to coming back for the bash – and going one-on-one with SmackDown’s Naomi, real name Trinity Fatu.
Melina said: “I would love to have a match with her, I would love it.
“She’s such a good person that I know we could make magic together because people who are appreciative and want to work with you, there’s nothing like it.
“When people don’t want to work with you, it makes for a crappy matchand the fans feel it.”
Former model Melina, who returned to the independent wrestling circuit in 2015 after a three-year hiatus, continued: “Me and Mickie [James], we had the most amazing matches together.
“We had such great chemistry and that’s because we’re friends and we love each other and we loved what we did.
“The creativity between the both of us was so amazing so I feel like it’s going to be the same way with Trinity.
“Her eagerness, her wanting to work and her being a great person. As well as being so creative, it would be a beautiful thing if we ever had a match.”
