On Sunday, Australian chef Shannon Bennett made his first public appearance following his split with long-term partner Madeleine West.

The 42-year-old MasterChef guest judge attended George Calombaris' wedding to his girlfriend-of-11-years Natalie Tricarico in Greece.

Clad in a white shirt, distressed jeans and a navy suit jacket, the TV personality mingled with the likes of Gary Mehigan and Matt Moran at the reception.

The wedding is believed to have taken place at the Island Athens Riviera resort, which boasts stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea, according to the Greek City Times.

Shannon was featured in several photos shared to Instagram, alongside a host of well-known Australian chefs, TV stars and food critics.

The guest list included Nigella Lawson, Manu Feildel and Miguel Maestre, among many other luminaries from the culinary world.

The wedding was Shannon's first public appearance since his partner Madeleine confirmed their split after 13 years together.

Madeleine, 38, told Stellar on Sunday September 9 that she and Shannon were 'striving to reconnect as friends and parents'.

The former couple share six children together, with Madeleine telling the publication that having a large family 'puts exponential pressures on a relationship'.

She explained: 'Having a public profile, having two high-pressure careers, having a multitude of children – and I will say they are a lot harder to train than dragons – it puts exponential pressures on a relationship, and cracks can form, and things that we don't necessarily plan in the beginning can happen'.

Madeleine and Shannon began dating in 2005. They are parents to Phoenix, 12, Hendrix, 10, Xascha, 8, Xanthe, 6, and twins Xalia and Margaux, 4.

It comes after Woman's Day first reported that the couple 'broke up' in July.

A source allegedly told the magazine: 'Nobody knows what went wrong but whatever happened, it's sad. They have such a beautiful family'.

Last September, Shannon and Madeleine bought a mansion in the ritzy Melbourne suburb of Toorak for a rumoured $16million.

Meanwhile, Madeleine is best known for playing Dee Bliss on Neighbours from 2000 until 2003.
