Sydney Roosters players have appeared a little worse for wear as they celebrated with fans on an open-top bus to celebrate their Grand Final victory.

The players were joined by more than 1000 rowdy fans at the club's headquarters in Bondi Junction in the city's eastern suburbs on Sunday night. 

The celebrations lasted well into the morning as ecstatic fans and players celebrated their team's 21-6 win over the Melbourne Storm.

Supporters continued the party on Monday morning, cheering the players as they showed off the Provan-Summons Trophy during a victory parade.

Players continued to party at Good Bar in nearby Paddington on Monday morning - some still in their playing kit.

Blake Ferguson emerged from a car still wearing his jersey while holding crutches with his leg in a boot after suffering an injury during the game.

Dylan Napa took it one step further by wearing his entire uniform - boots included - to the bar.

One of the players told Nine News he was 'too incarcerated' to chat after a night of partying. 

Players took to social media to share their celebrations after the final whistle.

Co-captain Boyd Cordner posted a selfie of players enjoying a beer on the team bus, while fullback James Tedesco shared video of the enormous crowd gathered outside the club headquarters in Bondi Junction.

The players took the stage at the Easts Leagues Club about 2am on Monday, and were met with rapturous cheers from their adoring fans.

Heroic playmaker Cooper Cronk addressed the team's supporters with his injured arm in a sling, the Daily Telegraph reported.

Cronk played in the decider despite suffering from a broken shoulder blade.

'Everyone in this room has sacrificed a lot. It feels incredible. Thank you very much for coming tonight - we love you,' Cronk said.

Coach Trent Robinson said support from the fans meant a lot to the players.

'Forget about us up here for a sec - we get to do this for a living - you guys come out and support us,' he said.

'Because of you we get to work hard everyday. And I promise you, we don't forget that. We love you and we work hard and we love the support that we get - we want you to enjoy it, we want you to love it.'
