"Many Photos" - Roy Hodgson admits he’s in the dark over Arsenal transfer target Wilfried Zaha’s future

CRYSTAL PALACE boss Roy Hodgson has revealed he is totally unaware of what Wilfried Zaha’s future holds.

Zaha was the subject of a £40million bid from Arsenal, which was rejected, and the forward’s camp insist he wants to become a Gunner.

But Hodgson says he is yet to hear from the Ivorian forward, who has been at the Africa Cup of Nations.

The former England boss said: “He has not spoken to me. I don’t know if he’s spoken to the club [asking to leave].

“As far as I’m concerned, he is coming back, he is our player and I’ve been given no information that the club is interested in selling him at the moment.

“I’m just expecting him back, looking forward to working with him and seeing some of the things he can do for us.

HOLIDAY TIME

“I think he has got another 10 days or another week of holiday.

“I think he is back after we play Bristol City and before we play Hertha Berlin – that gives him his three weeks off.

“If he wants to come back earlier we will be very happy to see him.”

Palace value Zaha at £80m which is well above the £45m transfer budget Unai Emery has available to him this summer.
