CAMBRIDGE and Oxford’s reserve boats return to the Thames as they fight for bragging rights over their rivals.

Last year it was the men of Goldie and who were victorious by 2 and a half lengths as Cambridge completed a whitewash over their rivals.

When is the Men’s Reserve Boat Race?

The Boat Race will take place on Sunday, April 7.

It will be held on the Championship course on the Thames.

The coin toss will be at 12.58.

Isis – Oxford’s reserve boat – will leave the boathouse at 1.57pm.

Goldie – Cambridge’s reserve boat – will leave the boathouse at 2pm.

The men’s reserve will be held at 2.45pm.

What TV channel is it on and can I live stream it?

You can watch the Boat Race footage on BBC1.

The timings have not been confirmed for the BBC coverage so it is currently unknown as to whether the reserve races will be shown live on TV.

You will also be able to live stream on the BBC iPlayer on your computer, tablet or mobile device.
