It's been 25 years since Hugh Grant's lovable Charles fell for Andie MacDowell's elegant Carrie in Four Weddings and a Funeral.
And to celebrate the milestone, it's been announced Hugh, Andie and the rest of the cast are reuniting to film a short film follow-up to the beloved 1994 movie.
The film will air during Red Nose Day in 2019, following on from the huge success of the Love Actually reboot last year.
More celebrations: The cast of iconic 1994 film Four Weddings and a Funeral are reuniting for a short film follow-up as part of Red Nose Day 2019
Red Nose Day co-creator Richard Curtis wrote the original film, and has written the new short, while original director Mike Newel also returns for the sequel, which will pick up 25 years after the original film.
One Red Nose Day and a Wedding will feature original Four Weddings cast members Hugh Grant, Andie MacDowell, Kristin Scott Thomas, John Hannah, Rowan Atkinson, David Haig, Sophie Thompson, James Fleet, David Bower, Robin McCaffrey, Anna Chancellor, Rupert Vansittart, Simon Kunz, Sara Crowe and Timothy Walker.
They will be joined in the short film by some very special guest stars.
The short film follows on from the huge success of Red Nose Day Actually, a follow up to Love Actually that premiered during Red Nose Day's 2017 edition.
Leading man: Hugh Grant, 58, (pictured left in the film and right now) will reprise his role as hopeless-in-love Charles who falls for Carrie throughout a series of weddings with his pals
Richard Curtis says of the reunion: ' We're all definitely older – I suspect no wiser. It's been really enjoyable working out what's happened to all the characters - and now they get back together for the 5th wedding. Where, as usual, not everything will go as planned.'
The original film ended with Hugh's Charles finally getting together with Carrie, played by Andie, after calling of his wedding to Henrietta/Duck Face (Anna Chancellor).
There will be a notable absence from the cast though as sadly Charlotte Coleman who played Charles' sister Scarlett died in 2001.
Still together? The ending of the original film saw Charles and Carrie, played by Andie MacDowell, finally get together after Charles calls off his wedding to Duck Face
Then and now: Andie, 60, achieved one of her first major box office successes with the original movie, and will also star in a new TV series loosely based on the film next year
Simon Callow will also be skipping out on an appearance as his character Gareth famously dies during the original film.
Four Weddings and a Funeral was made in just six weeks and cost under £3 million, but became the highest-grossing British film in history at the time, with worldwide box office takings in excess of $245.7 million.
The film was also nominated for the Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay Oscars and picked up multiple Golden Globes and BAFTAs.
Found love? Kristin Scott Thomas' character Fiona declared her love for Charles in the original film, but fingers crossed has found love in the follow up
Still married: Sophie Thompson and David Haig played one of the marrying couples in the film - Lydia and Bernard, with both returning for the new short
Fame: Sophie now stars in Coronation Street while David recently appeared in Killing Eve
It also launched the international career of leading man Hugh, and his huge success as a romantic comedy icon.
His fame also soared thanks to the premiere of Four Weddings, which saw his then unknown girlfriend Elizabeth Hurley wow in the now iconic Versace safety-pin dress.
Andie meanwhile achieved her first major box office success with the movie, along with her other early nineties hit Groundhog Day.
'And the holy goat': Rowan Atkinson returns as the hapless Father Gerald, after also reprising his other hilarious role in the Love Actually Red Nose Day special two years ago
It was revealed on Thursday that Andie will also have a guest star role in a new series inspired by the British film.
According to Page Six, the actress, 60, will take on the role of a new character in the Hulu limited series, which is heading to the streaming service in 2019.
Andie will join Game Of Thrones star Nathalie Emmanuel, who plays the mystery lead role and replaces original choice Jessica Williams.
The series revolves around four American friends, Maya (Nathalie), Craig (Brandon Mychal Smith), Ainsley (Rebecca Rittenhouse) and Duffy (John Reynolds), who reunited at a wedding in London, with Andie set to play Ainsley's mother Mrs. Howard.
Heartbreak: Anna Chancellor returns as Henrietta/Duck Face, who Charles dumps at the altar
All star cast: There will be a notable absence from the cast though as sadly Charlotte Coleman (right) who played Charles' sister Scarlett died in 2001, while Simon Callow's character Gareth (left) dies in the original film
