CORONATION Street fans were left confused by the appearance of a snooker hall on tonight’s episode – because they had never seen it before.
During the episode Peter Barlow takes ownership of the old snooker hall on Victoria Street, in Weatherfield and is warned that it has a long history of being haunted.

The new venue was announced earlier this year as part of the new set but it is the first time the hall has been mentioned.
Those watching at home were confused by its arrival and the fact the street’s residents knew so much about it.
One person wrote: “Ah the snooker hall with so much local history that nobody ever heard of until now #Corrie.”
A second wrote: “How come this allegedly haunted, old time Snooker hall. Has never had a mention before in #Corrie??”
While a third commented: “Since when did they have a snooker hall ? #Corrie.”
And a fourth wanted to know: “Ha! How come they’ve never mentioned a snooker hall on #Corrie until someone wants to buy a snooker hall?”
Earlier this year Corrie bosses announced the redesign which featured new additions including the snooker hall, tattoo parlour and a police station.
