AN ex-Swansea City chairman is suing solicitors claiming they should have warned him Premier League promotion would cost him millions in divorce payments.
Huw Jenkins, 56, said he was told when he separated from wife Sian in 2011 that his finances were “not stable enough” for a final settlement.

Three months later Swansea City went up, boosting his wealth. Sian, 50, was awarded £2.25million when the divorce went through in 2017.
Mr Jenkins, who stood down as Swans chairman last year, said in court papers that he should have been advised to divorce earlier.
Solicitors John Collins & Partners denies his claim and said they would “continue to defend it vigorously”.
