With a legion of stylists, makeup artists and hairstylists helping stars to get ready for the red carpet, you might expect most A-listers to look their very best at any high-profile event.
However there are always a few celebrities who seem to miss the mark completely when it comes to their choice of red carpet look - and this year's Golden Globes was no exception.
With some of the industry's most talented professionals turning out for the major awards event, there were plenty of style highlights to enjoy - however there were almost as many fashion misses to accompany them.
Not so much power in these flowers! Supermodel Heidi Klum distracted from her natural beauty with her garish gown that featured a slightly tacky-looking corset top with an almost-comical floral embellished skirt
Eek: Lucy Liu showed off a new lighter hair color on the red carpet, but nothing could distract from the garish neon embellishments on her dress, which looked all the more bizarre when coupled with her sheer cape
Not so sharp: Judy Greer should be commended for pushing the fashion envelope with her look, however her suit was ill-fitting and looked as though she had borrowed it from a friend at the last minute
Addams Family fashion: Francia Raisa's hair and makeup looked flawless, however her sheer black dress was reminiscent of Morticia Addams
Seeing red: Actress and producer Tiziana Rocca chose a dress that looked better suited to a high school prom
Whoops! Missi Pyle posed with her foot flicked in the air - but neglected to remove the price sticker from her Sarah Flint heels
OTT: Former Miss Universe Margaret Gardiner's dress had a slightly unflattering plunging neckline, and the excess frills at the bottom dwarfed her slender frame
