OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER will scoop at £2million jackpot if he can lead Manchester United to Champions League qualification.

The Special One’s final game in charge ended in a 3-1 defeat at bitter rivals Liverpool to leave them 11 points off the top four.
However, that gap has now closed to eight after Solskjaer led United to a 5-1 triumph at Cardiff on Saturday to kick off his reign in style.
And The Mirror claim he will be quids in if he continues that form and seals a place in Europe’s most-prestige competition.
The club’s executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward is desperate to qualify for the Champions League and has promised the Norwegian a lump sum if he delivers it.
Missing out on it would cost United a whopping £40m in prize money.
And Woodward also fears it could prove costly in the transfer market as well.

A lack of Champions League football would make it even more difficult to land the continent’s biggest names next summer.
Solskjaer will be hoping to close the gap on fourth-placed Chelsea even further when Huddersfield come to Manchester on Boxing Day, with the Blues away at Watford.

Now the Serbian midfielder, who signed for Mourinho at Chelsea before following him to Old Trafford in 2017, has revealed he has spoken to his old mentor since his departure.
And Matic believes it is he and his team-mates who should “take responsibility” for Mourinho’s demise.
