A COMMUTER made a citizen’s arrest after filming a passenger who began hurling racist insults and lashing out with an umbrella.

Anna Lushchinskaya, 40, suddenly became abusive towards a fellow commuter in Brooklyn, New York, on a packed subway train.

It is unclear what exactly she was angry about but she begins repeatedly yelling “f*** off at a fellow passenger, who remains silent.

She then takes her sunglasses off and begins trying to hit the other passenger with her brolley.

When others intervene she turns her fury on them too.

Meanwhile a commuter, Juan Ayala begins videoing the ruckus.

She then begins shouting expletives at the woman who is trying to ignore her

She then calls the woman a “f***ing chink” which sparks outrage in the carriage

Mr Ayala then performed a citizen’s arrest while the police were arrived.

Edward Delatorre, the NYPD chief of transit, thanked passengers for intervening and giving witness statements.

He said Lushchinskaya was arrested by officers from Transit District 34 in Brooklyn and charged with felony assault in this case.
