EMMERDALE’S grooming story line between teacher Maya Stepney and Jacob Gallagher has shocked fans of the show.
And now it looks like the unhealthy relationship will be exposed by none other than Maya’s own ex-husband.
Just when fans of the ITV soap thought the Dales were set to get a little brighter now that serial killer Lachlan White had got his comeuppance, the show took another dark turn.
Teacher Maya Stepney’s has been grooming schoolboy Jacob Gallagher for weeks.
Next week her boyfriend and Jacob’s dad, David Metcalfe, comes close to discovering the truth.
Jacob and Maya are kissing on the sofa when they are interrupted by David.
Jacob is forced to hide as his dad and Maya make out.
Despite nearly rumbling the pair it seems David will continue to remain oblivious.
However, it looks like her ex-husband Dr Liam Cavanagh will be the one to finally discover the truth.
Liam’s daughter Leanna never liked Maya and after an incident involving Bernice, the father and daughter have a heart to heart.
Leanna previously said that Maya had got close to her male students and while it seemed she was trying to wind Maya up, now it seems there be some truth in it.

Fans of the show were horrified last week when Jacob caught Maya and his dad having sex behind the sofa.
As David apologised to his son viewers were disgusted as Maya appeared to smirk at the teenager.
Jacob was clearly devastated and stormed off in tears but Maya didn’t appear to be bothered about the teenager’s upset at all.
