Swooping through the gates of Buckingham Palace this afternoon, Autumn Phillips, wife of Princess Anne's son Peter Phillips, looked full of festive cheer.
Travelling separately to her husband, the 40-year-old mother-of-two appeared radiant as she grinned at the throngs of well-wishers lining up outside the gates of Buckingham Palace ahead of the Queen's annual Christmas lunch.
Sitting in the front passenger seat, Autumn shared a joke with a female companion, who was driving, and offered a wide smile to awaiting photographers.

With low-key make-up - including a slick of lip gloss - and simple gold hoop earrings, Autumn's fresh-faced beauty shone through.
A dress bag seen hanging in the backseat of her car suggested that the royal's purple-hued attire might not be what she has actually chosen to wear for the formal lunch at the Queen's London residence.
Meanwhile, mother-in-law Princess Anne co-ordinated with husband Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Lawrence in a dark winter coat and bright red scarf as the couple arrived together. The Princess Royal added a sporty pair of sunglasses to the look.
The annual event provides the monarch with the opportunity to spend time with members of the extended family who will not be joining her at her Norfolk estate, as well as senior royals.

The Queen and her family usually wait until the day before Christmas to decorate their tree at Sandringham House in Norfolk, gathering in the White Drawing Room on Christmas Eve to put the finishing touches to a 20ft tree cut from the estate.
This year, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, along with George, Charlotte, and Louis, will be celebrating Christmas this year in Norfolk, despite previous reports that they would be spending the day with the Middletons.
