New photo WWE stars Sheamus and Cesaro reveal plans to get Big Show into a kilt as they prepare for Survivor Series showdown with Authors of Pain

SHEAMUS and Cesaro cannot wait to get their hands on Authors of Pain – and believe Big Show is going to get give them the advantage.

SmackDown Live tag team champions The Bar go one-on-one with their Raw counterparts at Survivor Series this Sunday in the battle for brand supremacy.

And with the World’s Largest Athlete in their corner, the Celtic Warrior and Swiss Superman are confident they can prove they are the best on the planet.

But despite the introduction of Big Show into the team, they have no plans on changing their name – although they are hoping to see the legendary giant in a huge kilt to match their own attire.

SunSport were invited along with a select few members of the media to meet the dominating duo alongside Carmella in London last week on WWE’s European Tour.

And The Bar were only too happy to answer a number of questions ahead of Survivor Series:

You’ve joined forces with the Big Show – he’s a man who has been known to change his allegiances. What worries do you have and what protective measures?

Sheamus: One thing that has eluded us since we made this swap from Raw, to SmackDown, has been the SmackDown titles and the fact we won them is all we’re concerned about right now. Allegiances come and go in the WWE, but all I’m concerned about is being able to use this threesome to make us as good and as memorable as possible.

Cesaro: People never thought that Sheamus and I would be teaming for that long. You know, we’ve been friends with Big Show for quite a long time actually – the last European tour we were on, just over a year ago, we started calling him the Dark Lord. He was reading a book…

Sheamus: It was an audio book!

Cesaro: He was listening to an audio book and explaining it to us and said something about the Dark Lord. He just hated us for it. We ruined his audiobook. Sheamus mentioned the Cardillo weight belts; well we made him a Dark Lord weight belt that actually fits him.

Sheamus: So we have that! If he screws us over we’re taking it back!

Cesaro: Big Show is a lot of fun so we hope we can be strong for quite a bit.

There’s been a lot of talk online about The Bar changing its name – we’ve seen Show-Bar mentioned – is there any chance your brand could be changed? Do you have any possible names in mind?

Sheamus: They don’t even call us The Bar on TV! [Booms introduction] ‘It’s Sheamus and Cesaro!’ I told them, call us The Bar!

Cesaro: I think the best stuff comes organically, otherwise you get weird names. We’re going to wait and see what happens. I don’t know if Show-Bar will stick. I hope not!

Sheamus: We’ve got to get him a kilt first, and a jacket. We’re going to drug him and put it on. He’ll wake up in full gear.

Cesaro: What we’re looking forward to right now is Survivor Series and facing AOP and it’s going to be Drake Maverick against Big Show. I think we have the upper hand on that side. New Day always had a three and it’s an unfair balance, so I thought who could be our third – and it fits perfect. We have a giant. Who wouldn’t want to have a giant!

You were both at WWE’s Crown Jewel pay-per-view. The show was closed by two of the best tag teams ever, D-Generation X and the Brothers of Destruction. How can The Bar to emulate those two iconic duos?

Cesaro: We’re The Bar. I think we’re the best tag team right now. We’ve surpassed them.

Sheamus: We’re way more handsome. We’re sexier.

Cesaro: We’re always big on being sexy, so we have that edge. I think we draw inspiration from other teams maybe, but we don’t try to emulate or be anyone else except us. I think that’s one of the big things we learned when we started teaming. We’re having a lot of fun being us. We’re not trying to be anyone else.

Other teams say “I want to be like Brain Busters or Legion of Doom”. You just want to be like them

[Sheamus starts naming tag-teams] You’re just going to name others? Ax and Smash? Yeah so we’re just having fun being ourselves…

Sheamus: Rhythm and Blues.

Cesaro: Beverly Brothers? Steiner Brothers – there’s a lot of brothers. Brothers of Destruction.

Sheamus: I think with DX and Brothers of Destruction it’s decades they’ve been together. On and off, they’ve come back, they’ve feuded and broken up and come back, I think this is really our first run. The thing about me and Cesaro, is that we both have strong individual personalities.

We’ve achieved a lot on our own, and together we have more chances. They’ll come a time – I don’t want to say we’ll go stale but…. we’ve won four Raw Tag Titles and one SmackDown, literally five in two years.

There’ll be a time when there’s a singles run again but we’ll always come back and that’s what will create our legendary status. At the moment you see us every week on TV, but when Taker comes back or Shawn [Michaels] comes back, or The Rock comes back, it’s special because you don’t see those guys as often, it’s every once in a blue moon. When you’re there all the time, people see us and just accept that it’s the norm.

I think what really makes it special is when you come back and we’ll always come back to The Bar. The Bar will be there forever. Not right now, but in the future you’ll see our iconic status. Better than DX and the Brothers of Destruction.

Sheamus, your ‘Celtic Warrior Workouts’ on YouTube have been gaining traction online. Which superstars have impressed you, and pushed you the most with their workouts?

Sheamus: [Pointing to Carmella] Right there! Carmella’s booty workout! I felt like Darth Vader with a broken ass for about a week. I had to use a crane just to get down the steps to the toilet.

Cesaro: But here’s the thing, show us your booty now! [Sheamus turns and shakes his backside]

Carmella: It worked, it worked!

The Bar: That’s Carmella’s work right there! Thanks Carmella, good job.

Sheamus: The other hardest workout we did was me and Cesaro took on Seth [Rollins] and Joshy G, Deadboys, and we did the hardest challenge…

Cesaro: It’s really conspicuous that the hardest two workouts happen to be with the two people that are sitting next to you…

Carmella: How convenient!

Sheamus: That was easy actually. No, the H2O workout with Steve Cardillo, who makes weight belts over in the states, in Massachusetts. It was the most unusual I’ve ever done. He’s got a dock out the back of his house and has all these huge buckets and they start out heavy and get lighter and then you do it the other way, you start light and then he fills them up. It’s a really hard work out.

Hayden says: “I don’t have a model’s body, but I’m not one of those crazy girls who thinks that they’re fat. I’m OK with what I have.”

Nicollette says: “I don’t like diets – I see it, I eat it! I believe in eating healthily with lots of protein, vegetables and carbs to give you energy.”
