The Tory party paused its civil war over Brexit last night to quaff wine at a lavish awards bash that saw Theresa May's deal ridiculed by a Cabinet minister and both her ex-Brexit secretaries rewarded for 'best resignation'.
Politicians from both sides of the Commons and across the Brexit divide turned out for the Spectator's Parliamentarian of the Year awards.
Joined by Westminster journalists the boozy bash continued late into last night.
David Davis and Dominic Raab jointly collected Cabinet resignation of the year for quitting over the Brexit deal.
And Tracey Crouch picked up a gong for her own incendiary walkout from Government over delays to curbs on fixed odds betting terminals.
The best jokes of the night were reserved for host Liz Truss, who quipped she hoped Ruth Davidson's new baby would grow up to a 'world where we are out of the backstop'.

Shadow home secretary Diane Abbott (left) was also at the party, alongside Boris Johnson's sister Rachel (right)
Launching an all-assault on her Tory colleagues the Chief Secretary to the Treasury said: 'Now I know that my jokes haven’t always gone down well with some of my colleagues and friends.
'So I decided that I was going to do it right this time and I was going to consult them. I asked Michael Gove to send me a joke, but he’s still not taken my calls.
'The DUP sent me a joke but unfortunately they charged me £1 billion for it. Jacob Rees-Mogg promised me five jokes, but he only sent three through.
'And finally I asked the Chancellor for a joke… just kidding I didn’t actually.'
Ms Truss also mocked Northern Ireland Secretary Karen Bradley, Trade Secretary Liam Fox and former Brexit secretary Dominic Raab.
She quipped Chris Grayling's car was 'stuck somewhere near Crewe' and joked she might join the 'pizza club' of Brexit rebels - just to get a slice of pizza.
Labour MP Jess Philips (left) and ex Tory leader Iain Duncan Smith (right) were also in attendance at the boozy party

Remain campaigner Nicky Morgan was also at the dinner, held every year to highlight the most prominent MPs in the political year
Controversial columnist Toby Young, who resigned from the Office for Students in January amid a scandal over his writing, was also at the party
The minister said snap elections and Treasury forecasts should be banned but not before 'Andrew Bridgen is banned from speaking to any journalists'.
And Ms Truss mocked Donald Trump - even putting on a dreadful American accent - to suggest how he might endorse the deal with 'extracts' from his speech.
She said: 'People of Britain with deal we are going to start winning again. Going to win to a new level, win on the economy, win economically, win so much you're going to get tired of winning.
'Don't listen to those total losers Corbyn and McDonnell.'
Still imitating Trump, Ms Truss said it was a 'huge and beautiful' Brexit deal that 'contains the best words'.
And she quipped: 'If it were not just on paper I would date it.'
