Terry Crews and his wife Rebecca King-Crews have revealed they maintain their relationship by fighting and making up.
Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, the couple admitted they use the unique trick to keep their romance alive just months after candidly discussing their heartache over a cheating scandal and the actor's porn addiction which nearly tore them apart.
Appearing at the MTV EMAs, the actor also discussed the heartbreaking cancellation of Brooklyn Nine Nine in May which he admitted caused his to weep before the show was recomissioned by NBC 30 hours later.

Terry has been married to actress Rebecca for nearly 30 years yet their relationship neared devastation when he admitted to cheating on his wife alongside battling a porn addiction and dealing in prostitution.
The duo spoke about their strife on Doctor Phil in March, as Rebecca confessed she nearly left her husband after the heartbreaking scandal arose which resulted in the star landing in rehab to battle his addictions.
Speaking on the show, she said: 'I said to him "you know we’re done right…yes I’m gonna leave your raggedy behind and I’m gonna take your money too... You gone pay me child support for me and my new man"'
Terry countered: 'Guys operate on pride. And you’re successful you feel like that buys you a pass. I did not go to rehab to get my wife back. I went there because I needed to be a better person.'

Rising above their woes, they admitted to MailOnline that they use fighting and making up as a method to remain together.
She said: 'The key is fighting and making up. He's my best friend', while Terry added: 'The making up is the best bit!'
Aside from his relationship, fans were left heartbroken to discover Brooklyn Nine Nine has been cancelled earlier this year.
And while devoted viewers were upset, none more so than Terry who candidly admitted to MailOnline that he was so devastated when the show was axed that he cried 'a lot' on the back of the news.

Terry, who stars as the lovable Sergeant Terry Jeffords in the hit show, joined legions of viewers around the world in expressing their grief over the announcement in May that Brooklyn Nine Nine would not return for another series.
News of the cancellation came after five series and was surrounding rumours of dwindling ratings due to constant scheduling changes.
When the shock reveal came, heartbroken and stunned Terry said: 'I cried a lot when it was cancelled, I cried a lot. I couldn't believe it.'
However there was light at the end of the tunnel as a huge petition from fans arose, leading to the return of the programme via NBC.
Taking a break from filming to attend the awards, he said: '30 hours later we got picked up by NBC and we're filming now. It's going so phenomenal, so amazing. The NBC love has been incredible and we're coming back in January!'

It has been a tough year for Terry, who has spoken out about his alleged sexual abuse at the hands of a Hollywood agent.
In June, Crews spoke out about his alleged sexual assault by William Morris Endeavor agent Adam Venit, in an emotional testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee on Capitol Hill.
He said: 'I am an actor, author, former athlete, advocate and a survivor of a sexual assault. Hollywood definitely has been a problem area, simply because so many people who view this as a dream...
'And what happens is, someone has power over these dreams ... you get tricked into thinking that this type of behavior is expected, that it's part of the job, that this harassment, abuse, even rape, is part of your job description.
