New photo Phillip Schofield joins his family at Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald premiere

He is usually seen attending events on the arm of his close pal and co-star Holly Willoughby. 

But Phillip Schofield enjoyed a rare outing with his family as they attended the London premiere of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald held in Leicester Square on Tuesday night. 

The This Morning presenter, 56, cut a dapper figure for the occasion and beamed with delighted as he posed alongside his wife Stephanie and their two daughters.

Phillip stepped out sporting an all-black ensemble that paired together a two-piece suit and matching shirt underneath. 

Appearing in high spirits, he couldn't have looked happier as he cuddled up to his girls on his arrival to the latest installment of the Fantastic Beast movies - that sees Eddie Redmayne take the lead as Newt Scamander. 

Phillip was joined by wife of 15 years Stephanie, who looked elegant in a floral patterned dress, and their two daughters; Molly, 25, and Ruby, 22. 

The girls put on a stylish display with their chic outfit choices, as Molly favoured a red leopard print wrap-over dress while her younger sister Ruby caught the eye in a polka dot gown that boasted a slit at its side.

The family of four flashed huge smiles as they made their way into the latest movie derived from J.K. Rowling's much-loved Harry Potter series. 

Phillip's appearance in the capital comes as his usual This Morning co-host Holly has touched down in Australia ahead of her upcoming presenting debut on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here. 

She will join Declan Donnelly to present this series, as ITV have chosen Holly to stand-in for Ant McPartlin while he continues to take an extended break from TV. 

Phillip, meanwhile, has been presenting This Morning alongside Rochelle Humes, who will replace Holly during her stint Down Under.

Enjoying a break from his busy working schedule, however, Phillip was joined at the star-studded Fantastic Beasts premiere by its stellar cast, including the likes of Redmayne, Zoe Kravitz, Jude Law and Johnny Depp.

Redmayne is reprising his role as Newt Scamander, a Magizoologist who is enlisted by Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) to help him capture the villainous Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp).

The film is set in the Harry Potter universe and finds Grindelwald seeking to gain power and divide 'pureblood' wizards from humans in 1920s Paris.

Talking about his role, Eddie told Graham Norton: 'When you get to be in JK Rowling's world, you suddenly get a wand - you've pretty much waited all your life for this moment and you think you are going to be a pro at it, but you really don't know what to do with it.

Big names: Also in attendance had been Zoe Kravitz, who dazzled in pink, and Jude Law - who has taken on the role of Albus Dumbledore in the movie

'So, I actually got a movement coach to help me work out how to use it - whether to do it over the top or minimal - we really studied it.'

Zoe Kravitz portrays Newt's former love interest Leta Lestrange, who he studied with at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Returning cast members include Katherine Waterston as Auror Tina Goldstein, Alison Sudol as Queenie and Dan Fogler as Jacob Fowalski.

Ezra Miller is back as Credence and Callum Turner will play Newt's brother Theseus Scamander.

The Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald will be released worldwide 16 November.
