MEMPHIS DEPAY threw on a dodgy jacket and smoked a cigar as he dedicated a truly awful rap to his five million Instagram followers.
The former Manchester United star, 24, shared a cringey video on social media as he praised his loyal followers’ support.
Depay released his latest video to thank his fans for reaching the massive five million fans milestone.
He captioned the club: “I bet this freestyle’s going viral!
“Thank you to my supporters for helping me hit 5 million followers on Instagram!”
However, the rap came in for mixed reviews from fans on social media.
One wrote, “Sounds dope”, while another simply wrote “fire”… but not everyone seemed to agree.
Another added, “What are you smoking?”, while a third quipped: “Side job = destroy the rap scene.”
Depay has been in superb from for club and country this season, helping Holland to the Nations League finals next summer.
The winger has scored ten goals in 24 games this season in all competitions, including a strike as Holland beat world champions France 2-0 during the international break.
