Katherine stunned in the statement number that came complete with a quirky one-shouldered design and dipped hem.

She paired her dress with metallic cut-out heels and a vampy manicure, while choosing to favour a pared back beauty look that comprised of minimal make-up and her brunette locks pinned back in a loose up-do.

The acting talent offset her outfit choice with a coral red lipstick and was seen placing a protective hand over her burgeoning bump as she made her way inside the premiere.

Recalling the experience, she admits she was certain she wouldn't be cast in the movie, telling Entertainment Weekly: 'Well, the casting director had just eaten a lot of cake, and he said, "I’m sorry, I just ate a lot of cake," and then he had indigestion during my audition and he didn’t seem to be watching me. So I thought, "Oh, I’m boring him."

'I was very surprised to hear that they wanted to put me through the ringer and do a test, and then that’s just a nightmare because then you’re really attached by that point and you’re fantasizing and thinking about the character and why you’re the only person who can play her because of whatever reasons you’ve dreamed up.'

She returns as Tina in the latest installment of Fantastic Beasts, along with Redmayne who is back once again as Newt Scamander - a Magizoologist who is enlisted by Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) to help him capture the villainous Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp).

The film is set in the Harry Potter universe and finds Grindelwald seeking to gain power and divide 'pureblood' wizards from humans in 1920s Paris.

Talking about his role, Eddie told Graham Norton: 'When you get to be in JK Rowling's world, you suddenly get a wand - you've pretty much waited all your life for this moment and you think you are going to be a pro at it, but you really don't know what to do with it.

'So, I actually got a movement coach to help me work out how to use it - whether to do it over the top or minimal - we really studied it.'

Zoe Kravitz portrays Newt's former love interest Leta Lestrange, who he studied with at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Returning cast members include Waterston, Alison Sudol as Queenie and Dan Fogler as Jacob Fowalski. Ezra Miller is back as Credence and Callum Turner will play Newt's brother Theseus Scamander.

Depp recently opened up about playing Grindelwald in J.K. Rowling's Fantastic Beasts franchise, addressing the controversy surrounding his casting for the first time in Entertainment Weekly.

'I had this image in my head of the guy,' the 55-year-old star said. 'The beauty of J.K. [Rowling] and of [director David] Yates is they put trust in me to a degree. J.K. and I had some really nice talks and I had some ideas and she just said, "I can’t wait to see what you do with him."'

'It was beautifully left as this open gift,' he added. Rowling faced backlash when she cast Depp last year, with fans questioning why domestic violence allegations made against the actor by ex-wife Amber Heard didn't preclude him from the project.

The British writer released a statement late last year, saying 'Based on our understanding of the circumstances, the filmmakers and I are not only comfortable sticking with our original casting, but genuinely happy to have Johnny playing a major character in the movies.'

Depp told EW that he felt bad Rowling had to issue such a statement of support.

'I’ll be honest with you, I felt bad for J.K. having to field all these various feelings from people out there. I felt bad that she had to take that. But ultimately, there is real controversy.

The Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald will be released worldwide 16 November.
