A mother has shared a heartwarming photo of her disabled daughter posing next to an image of a model who was also born without her left arm.
Niamh Counihan, 24, from Limerick in Ireland, spotted the portrait of Kelly Knox in the window of her local Penneys (Primark) store while shopping with her 18-month-old daughter, Fiadh.
The youngster was born without her left arm - just like 34-year-old Kelly, who shot to fame in 2008 after winning Britain's Missing Top Model.
Taking to Instagram, Niamh shared the photo and explained she 'couldn't wait' to show her daughter the picture when she was older.
Model Kelly then spotted the snap and shared it with her own followers, writing: 'This is what it's all about... Have actual tears in my eyes!!!
'From the beginning of time, "disabled" people are made to feel inferior and dehumanised. This image and quote is so powerful! Thank you.'

She had been out shopping with her 18-month-old daughter when she spotted the photo of Kelly Knox in the window

Niamh said: 'Primark is one of the biggest companies I know of so when I saw the photo I just had to get the picture. I thought it was brilliant, it's great to see that picture being put up by such a big brand'
She added: 'It is every person's birthright to grow up confidently in their own skin knowing they do not have to change anything about themselves to feel beautiful or be included in society. Representation matters!'
Speaking to Femail, Niamh explained the importance of disability representation and how she hopes it will make it easier for her daughter as she grows up.
She said: 'It's amazing to see. I think [representation] is increasing, it's becoming a bit more normal to be a bit different.
'You were born with blue eyes, you were born with curly hair, and you were born with one arm. Everybody's a little bit different, and she's just a bit more different.'
Niamh, 24, praised Primark in particular for running the inclusive campaign which went viral earlier this year.

Although the tot, pictured with her father Cian Healy, doesn't have a clue she's different just yet, Niamh is hopeful that increased representation will make it easier for her growing up

Niamh added: 'You were born with blue eyes, you were born with curly hair, and you were born with one arm. Everybody's a little bit different, and she's just a bit more different'
She added: 'Primark is one of the biggest companies I know of so when I saw the photo I just had to get the picture. I thought it was brilliant, it's great to see that picture being put up by such a big brand.
'At the minute she doesn't have a clue she's different, but it will make it easier in the future, that there are people out there like her and that's okay.
'Kids with the same disability, they see that and think "they're the same as me".'
Niamh and her partner Cian Healy had no idea their little girl's left arm had not grown until she was born.
Although they were initially worried - Niamh's father's first thought was 'how's she going to tie her shoelaces?' - they have since found a community of other parents with disabled children on Instagram and in their home town.

Niamh has found a community of mothers with children who have the same disability as Fiadh on Instagram and in her home town. One mother from America even named her daughter Fiadh after she helped to put her at ease

Fiadh is being fitted for her second prosthetic at the moment, but Niamh is hopeful that better disabled representation on shows such as Strictly Come Dancing and Great British Bake Off will mean she never feels the need to wear it
The pre-school teacher regularly shares photos of her daughter on social media, and one mother from America even named her daughter Fiadh in her honour.
Fiadh is currently being fitted for a prosthetic arm, but Niamh is hopeful that her daughter will never feel the need to use it thanks to better representation of disabilities in the media and on shows like Strictly Come Dancing and the Great British Bake Off.
She added: 'I want her to be comfortable in her own skin and to know that she's beautiful and that she looks perfect. She doesn't need a prosthetic but if she does want it when she goes to school, it's there for her.
'If this kind of representation is going to be a thing in every day life, it's going to make it a lot easier for her.'
Since winning the spin-off show of Britain's Next Top Model, Kelly has starred in episodes of Gok Wan's How To Look Good Naked and walked for Teatum Jones at London Fashion Week.
She recently hit the headlines after Primark hired her for their campaign back in July.
