The actress, 33, was clad in a dazzling silver mesh top, looking stylish and sophisticated at the photocall, after being announced as the high fashion brand's new spokesmodel last spring.

Rooney cut an egdy figure in the striking structured garment, which she paired with smart high-waisted trousers.

Letting her outfit do the talking, Rooney scraped her brunette locks back in a bun.

She highlighted her eyes with a sweep of silver shadow and kept her lipstick pale and subtle.

For hair, Miss Mara smoothed her chocolate locks back into sleek low ponytail.

Back in May, Givenchy Parfums announced that the A Ghost Story star will be the face of their new fragrance hitting shelves in mid-September.

Rooney explained her affinity for the French fashion house while talking to WWD back in Spring.

'I always feel my best and most comfortable wearing [Givenchy] clothes. Getting to represent them now in this way feels just right.”
