Michelle Williams says she doesn't drive anymore.
The Kalispell, Montana native, 38, told Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest about her decision on Live with Kelly and Ryan on Thursday.
'I stopped driving - I gave it up - because I had road rage,' the actress said. 'I’m not going to go into who or what happened, but something came out of my mouth that I didn’t know that I knew.'

Off-roading: Michelle Williams, 38, told Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest on Live with Kelly and Ryan on Thursday that she doesn't drive due to a road rage incident
'I stopped, so now I’m only on the train.'
Williams said one volatile incident occurred while she was with her Matilda Rose, her 12-year-old daughter with late Oscar-winner Heath Ledger.
'My daughter was there and she was like, "Oh, you just said ..."' said Williams, who resides in New York City.
Williams said the incident caused her to take her 'hands off the wheel' moving forward.

Coming of age: Williams said she's 'recognizing [her] own strength and [her] own worth' these days
'It's me and the metro card everywhere,' Williams said, referring to her use of the Big Apple subway.
It's been a busy time for Williams, as she revealed in July to Vanity Fair that she secretly had tied the knot with musician Phil Elverum in Adirondacks in Upstate New York.
Professionally, her career continues to flourish with a number of roles in high-profile projects.
Speaking with the AP earlier this week, Williams said she was 'recognizing [her] own strength and [her] own worth,' about nine months after she was foist into the headlines over massive pay disparity between her and Mark Wahlberg for re-shoots for All the Money in the World.

Huge role: Williams was recently cast to play teacher-turned-astronaut Christa McAuliffe in The Challenger, a motion picture based on the January 28, 1986 shuttle explosion

Coming soon: Michelle appears in the film Venom, which hits theaters Friday
'I'm 38 and it's just happening,' said Williams, who was recently cast to play teacher-turned-astronaut Christa McAuliffe in The Challenger, a motion picture based on the January 28, 1986 shuttle explosion 73 seconds after its takeoff from Cape Canaveral, Florida.
Williams also appears in the Sony Pictures and Marvel Films blockbuster Venom alongside Tom Hardy.
She told the AP she relished the chance to appear in a tent-pole franchise, which is not the normal course she's taken in her career.
'It's not like people are always asking me to be in these kinds of movies,' she said. 'I thought it would be fun to try something on a larger scale and to see if I can relax.'
Venom hits theaters Friday.
