A HOLIDAY family quit their hotel within hours after a spate of horrors — including seeing their kids in a pool with poo.

Mum-of-two Kirsty Senior was also shocked by fly-covered food, dirty loungers and broken floor tiles on the £1,500 Thomas Cook trip.

Kirsty, 28, said: “The travel agent said it was wonderful and pictures made it look great but it was horrible. The kids went in the pool and someone pointed out poo in there.

“I quickly grabbed them but my son Alfie still got a tummy bug.

“There were cracked tiles and loungers with black grime as if they’d been unwashed in years.

There was rubbish in corridors and food covered in flies.”

The family left the hotel within hours after coming face-to-face with scenes like this

Kirsty, of Wakefield, West Yorks, partner James Slim, 29, daughter Ella, ten, and Alfie, seven, asked to leave Sahara Beach Hotel in Monastir, Tunisia, after five hours.

They say they paid £300 to go elsewhere but Cook’s offered only £100.

It said: “We’re addressing their concerns and offered compensation.”
