WESLEY SNEIJDER bid a farewell to his international career by watching his career highlights on the pitch after Holland beat Peru 2-1.

Joined by his family in a mocked up living room in the middle of the Amsterdam Arena, the 34-year-old was given the perfect send off by his team-mates.

The ex-Inter Milan and Real Madrid maestro watched pre-recorded messages from his former team-mates and managers as he sat beside his wife and two children.

He lasted 62 minutes for the Flying Dutchmen against their South American opponents before being hauled off in order to give him a standing ovation from the fans.

Supporters slapped their heads after full-time – mimicking his celebration when he scored a winner against Brazil in the 2010 World Cup quarter-final in South Africa.

Sneijder is Holland’s all-time appearance maker with 134 caps, while he has also chipped in with 31 goals.

He said after the match: “It’s over, it’s done. My last match in the orange shirt. Everything comes to an end.”

His farewell was almost spoiled by Peru, who took the lead in the 13th minute when Pedro Aquino outjumped Daley Blind to net the opener.

But Manchester United flop Memphis Depay levelled the game in the 60th minute, as he raced onto a quick pass from debutant Frenkie de Jong.

The Lyon forward then ensured Sneijder’s finale would be a win by volleying home Quincy Promes’ blocked shot in the 83rd minute.

Hayden says: “I don’t have a model’s body, but I’m not one of those crazy girls who thinks that they’re fat. I’m OK with what I have.”

Nicollette says: “I don’t like diets – I see it, I eat it! I believe in eating healthily with lots of protein, vegetables and carbs to give you energy.”
