New photo Forza Horizon 4 makes Britain look beautiful – and you can play it for free TODAY

MICROSOFT is releasing a demo for Forza Horizon 4 today, almost three weeks before the gorgeous new arcade racer comes out.

The fun-focused cousin of the much more serious Forza Motorsport series, Horizon 4 is set in the UK, with events all over a gloriously recreated version of Great Britain.

It’s hard not to fall in love with a game when the first thing you do is blast down a country lane in the rarest of rare supercars

The full game doesn’t come out until October 2nd, but you can download the demo from the Microsoft store and check it out today.

From what we’ve seen of the game so far it’s got everything that Horizon fans want and a whole lot more besides.

It’s got a whole host of events across Great Britain you can jump between, miles of roads to blaze down, and hundreds of cars rendered in frankly absurd levels of detail.

In the first few hours of the game you get to tear up some bucolic side roads in a McLaren Senna, the game’s cover car, tearing up the tarmac on your way to the Horizon Festival.

There you pick up another car and dive into events as and when you feel like it.

You don’t just race against other cars in Horizon either — one race we tried featured a jet zooming overhead

In our first couple of hours we jumped into a full-on rallycross course, an illegal street race and did a set of stunts for a rather demanding movie director — who sounded distractingly like Sean Bean.

This was all while customising our avatar, post-race emotes, buying a little country house and taking great pleasure demolishing lovingly-built dry stone walls and delighting in how glorious the Oxfordshire-like countryside looked in the summer sunshine.

That sunshine doesn’t last, though — it looked even better in Autumn thanks to piles of leaves blowing up off the road and a new piece of spectacular multi-coloured landscape around every bend.

That’s because of the much-hyped seasons in Forza Horizon. Once the game is out the season in-game will change every week, cycling through summer, autumn, winter and spring. Some events will be limited to one season — you can’t race on frozen lakes in the height of summer — but some are open all year round, so you’ll be able to experience your favourite track covered in snow, in a sudden April shower, or in glorious summer sun.

Horizon 4 may share some of Forza Motorsport’s technology, but it adds a huge sense of fun

You can get lost in the game’s photo modes and customisation options for hours

The landscapes, especially as highlighted by the changing weather, are every bit as gorgeous as the cars themselves–and combined, they’re as good an excuse as you’re ever going to get to upgrading to an Xbox One X and 4K telly.

We only got to try a tiny fraction of the game’s 450+ vehicles, but every one we saw looked amazing. The number of hours that went into re-creating the McLaren Senna really have paid off, with the resulting recreation being the closest you’ll ever get to driving one of the ultra-limited edition vehicles.

Only 500 will ever be made, but the same engineers who are hand-building them at McLaren helped make sure the in-game recreation was perfect, from the roar of the engine to how it feels off the line.

We can’t wait to get our hands on the full version, and highly suggest you grab the demo today to check it out for yourself.

To achieve her kick-ass figure, Hayden – who plays cheerleader Claire Bennet in Heroes – follows the ‘quartering’ rule. She eats only a quarter of the food on her plate, then waits 20 minutes before deciding whether she needs to eat again.

Hayden says: “I don’t have a model’s body, but I’m not one of those crazy girls who thinks that they’re fat. I’m OK with what I have.”

Nicollette says: “I don’t like diets – I see it, I eat it! I believe in eating healthily with lots of protein, vegetables and carbs to give you energy.”

SATC star Kim swears by gym sessions with Russian kettle bells (traditional cast-iron weights) and the South Beach Diet to give her the body she wants. To avoid overeating, Kim has a radical diet trick – squirting lemon juice on her leftovers – so she won’t carry on picking.

Kim says: “I am no super-thin Hollywood actress. I am built for men who like women to look like women.”
