The cost of fresh produce is expected to rise as Australia faces one of its worst devastating droughts of the past century.
But Australian Meat Emporium has launched a massive discount sale at its Sydney warehouse selling premium grain fed beef such as scotch and eye fillets for a fraction of the price, sending foodies into a frenzy.
The massive discount comes after Australia's meat exporter Bindaree offloaded nearly 100 tonnes of quality beef after the Asian typhoon blocked shipments to Japan, 7 News reported.
And now at wholesale prices, shoppers can purchase the best cuts of meat, including scotch fillet for just $27.99 per kilo, porterhouse for $19.99kg and eye fillet at $36.99kg.

'This is the last chance to get beef at a great price. You're not going to find these prices anywhere else,' Australian Meat Emporium's Luke Augustus said.
Farmers across the country have already been suffering from the intense droughts - with many losing livestock as a result - but the worst seems yet to come.
With costs of stock feed spiralling, families are expected to be hit with massive price hikes.
'The next few months we will see a large price rise right across the board, especially in beef,' Mr Augustus said.

However, Meat & Livestock Australia Lisa Sharp said it was 'incredibly difficult to predict prices for consumers but as we move into extended drought, we would expect prices to typically tighten'.
Nearly 100 tonnes of premium beef was offloaded in Sydney after the tropical cyclones stopped Japanese shipping storage and distribution.
The massive sale on 100-day grain fed beef is now available for sale at the Australian Meat Emporium warehouse in Alexandria, until while stocks last.
