RICHARD Arnold kicked off This Morning today by twerking in a pair of denim pants – leaving Susanna Reid cringing.

The presenter was testing out the new fashion, known as janties, which fully expose your bum cheeks.

Fortunately, Richard kept his trousers on beneath the shorts but it was enough to leave Susanna with her head in hands.

After walking around in the bizarre pants, Richard started twerking for his co-stars.

Janties hit headlines last  year when they appeared on the catwalk at Paris Fashion Week.

They are now available to buy for a whooping £260 a pair from designer Y/Project.

Described as a pair of “cotton denim hi-cut shorts” on the website, the jeans are marketed as having “five pockets”.

Posting a pic of the shorts on Instagram, Ssense said: “Two words: Denim panties. The SSENSE editors show you five ways to take your Canadian tuxedo to the next level”.

On the website, they add: “These ‘brief-style shorts’ can be worn under or over pants, meaning they’re far more versatile than what you’d traditionally expect from a pair of briefs.

“Underwear that doesn’t need to stay ‘under there’.”
