Married At First Sight’s Steph and Jonathan “can’t even sit on the Good Morning Britain sofa together” after bitter split, The Sun Online can reveal.
The couple’s marriage was over just days after they tied the knot on TV, with her friends calling the relationship “the worst match”.
And now things have got so bad between the exes they had to turn down a stream of TV interviews because they can’t stand each other’s company.
A source told us: “They were invited on all the morning shows but their split is so bad they can’t bear to be in the same room, let alone sit next to each other on a sofa.
“The situation is all so raw – it’d be obvious they hate each other.
“They’re not even talking so it’s made it really awkward to promote the show.”
Yesterday, we revealed that the couple split up days after the wedding – and now can’t bear the sight of each other.
Steph had sparked fears the relationship was over by ditching her ring on social media, but now The Sun Online can reveal the couple broke up in such a bitter split they no longer speak.
“Steph and Jonathan were a disastrous match – everyone knew it, even at the wedding,” says an insider.
“It was over within days and she took her ring off almost straight away.
Adding: “They can’t bear to be in the same room as each other now, and don’t communicate.
“It’s made things really awkward for promoting the show as they can’t even sit next to each other or put on a fake smile for interviews.
“It’s been a nightmare – her friends and family support her, but knew it wouldn’t last.”

Nurse Steph, 28, walked up the aisle with property manager Jonathan, 39, in last week’s episode, but viewers immediately knew that they weren’t a good match.
Fans were gobsmacked the C4 show matched Steph, who admitted to being insecure after her last boyfriend cheated on a night out, with Jonathan, whose friendship group was mainly girls.
And it seems like Steph’s friends agreed, with her close friends retweeting fans saying the experts had “f***ed up” the pairing and that expert Dr Pepper Schwartz should “stick to fizzy pop”.
