New photo I feel punished after not being invited to my partner’s friend’s wedding

DEAR DEIDRE: I’VE not been invited to my partner’s friend’s wedding – but he says it’s their day and they can do what they want.

I’ve been with my bloke for three years. He had a fling a year ago – with a girl whose friend is the one getting married.

The fling lasted a few weeks. My partner came clean, we worked through it and our relationship is good again. I’m 29 and he is 31.

Everyone else is taking a plus-one to the wedding, along with the girl my partner cheated with.

I understand the bride and groom don’t want any drama but I’m still hurt.

Enough time has passed since that fling. I’m over it. I feel like I’m being punished when I’m the innocent party.

DEIDRE SAYS: It’s not ideal but don’t take it personally. The other girl is their immediate friend, like your partner. Each guest can cost a lot – especially if it’s someone they feel awkward about inviting. It is their day and their decision.

Let this go. It is not a battle you are going to win. My e-leaflet on Wedding Worries explains more.

Suggest you and your partner have a special break away together the following weekend.

To achieve her kick-ass figure, Hayden – who plays cheerleader Claire Bennet in Heroes – follows the ‘quartering’ rule. She eats only a quarter of the food on her plate, then waits 20 minutes before deciding whether she needs to eat again.

Hayden says: “I don’t have a model’s body, but I’m not one of those crazy girls who thinks that they’re fat. I’m OK with what I have.”

Nicollette says: “I don’t like diets – I see it, I eat it! I believe in eating healthily with lots of protein, vegetables and carbs to give you energy.”

SATC star Kim swears by gym sessions with Russian kettle bells (traditional cast-iron weights) and the South Beach Diet to give her the body she wants. To avoid overeating, Kim has a radical diet trick – squirting lemon juice on her leftovers – so she won’t carry on picking.

Kim says: “I am no super-thin Hollywood actress. I am built for men who like women to look like women.”
