1. Promoter: News UK.


2. Eligibility: This competition is open to residents of Great Britain and ROI who are aged 18 years or over only.


3. Employees of the Promoter, Merlin Entertainments, their immediate families, employees or immediate family members of any third party companies associated with the promotion, prize providers or agencies assisting with the promotion operation may not enter any promotion.


4. Proof of eligibility may be required.


5. Entry Period: Competition entries will be accepted until on 23:59 on 17.01.2019.


6. How to Enter: To enter simply complete the online survey sent via email and you will be automatically entered into the prize draw to win 1 x Standard Family Merlin Annual Pass. Entrants must have access to the internet, a working telephone number and an email address.


7. A maximum of 1 entry is permitted per person.


8. Proof of survey completion will not be accepted as proof of entry. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are incomplete, lost due to technical reasons, corrupted, delayed or not received for whatsoever reason.


9. Any entrant using bulk, third party entries or other automated means, trying to circumvent the rules, is fraudulently falsifying data, acting fraudulently or dishonestly in the opinion of the Promoter, using identities other than their own or any other automated means in order to increase their entries, or entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these rules in full will be disqualified and any prize entitlement will be void.


10. Prize: There is 1 prize available. Prizes are non-transferable, non-negotiable, not for resale and there is no cash alternative.


11. Prize consists of: A Standard Family Merlin Annual Pass (based on a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children). The prize will be supplied in the form of a gift voucher, which will be valid for 10 months from the date of issue and must be exchanged for your Standard Family Merlin Annual Pass at one of the following attractions: Alton Towers Resort, LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort, Chessington World of Adventures Resort, THORPE PARK Resort, Warwick Castle, The London Dungeon, LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Manchester, Madame Tussauds London, The Coca-Cola London Eye, SEA LIFE London Aquarium, SEA LIFE Brighton, Blackpool Tower Eye, Madame Tussauds Blackpool, Tower Dungeon Blackpool, SEA LIFE Blackpool, SEA LIFE Weymouth, SEA LIFE Scarborough, SEA LIFE Great Yarmouth and York Dungeon only.

13. Attraction closure and exclusion dates apply. Merlin reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to refuse entry and to close and/or alter all or any part of the facilities including closure of rides and/or attractions for technical, operational, health and safety or other reasons including overcapacity. Size, height, weight, age restrictions and medical warnings apply to certain rides and attractions.


14. Travel, accommodation, visas (if required), spending money and all other expenses not explicitly mentioned in these rules are the responsibility of the winner.


15. Winner Selection: 1 winner will be selected using a random number generator within 7 days of the closing date from all valid entries.


16. Winner Notification: Winners will be notified within 7 days of being selected via phone or by email.


17. The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to contact the winners. However, if a winner has not responded to notification within 28 days, or if a selected winner is ineligible, in breach of these rules, or unable to take up the prize for any other reason, an alternative winner will be drawn. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for winners failing to supply accurate information which affects prize acceptance or delivery.


18. Prize Fulfilment: The prizes will be dispatched to the winners within 7 days of acknowledgement of the notification by the winner being notified using the details provided upon entry. Prizes returned undelivered are assumed unwanted and an alternative winner will be draw.


19. The Promoter will only use the personal details supplied for the administration of the promotion and for no other purpose, unless we have your consent. Your personal details will at all times be kept confidential and in accordance with current Data Protection legislation. Click here for the Promoter’s Privacy Policy. You can request access to your personal data, or have any inaccuracies rectified, by sending an email to dataprotection@news.co.uk. By participating in the Promotion, you agree to the use of your personal data as described here. The Promoter will share personal information with its marketing agency and other partners who will be supporting the Promoter with the promotion only, including with providing prizes. The Promoter and its agents will only use personal information supplied by entrants for the purposes of administering this promotion.

20. General: By entering, entrants agree to accept and be bound by these rules. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these rules, or of the spirit of this promotion, the Promoter may at its sole discretion refuse to accept an entry and/or disqualify an entrant or a winner.


21. Incomplete, illegible, corrupted entries or those which are otherwise not in accordance with these rules will not be valid. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for failure to receive an entry where such failure is due to circumstances outside the Promoter’s control.


22. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be sold or auctioned. No cash or other alternative to a prize will be offered. The Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value than the original or vary these rules due to any unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.


23. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into.


24. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter accepts no liability for any damage, loss or injury suffered due to entering this promotion or taking up a prize.


25. Winners’ names and counties will be available within 3 months of the closing date by sending a stamped, self-addressed envelope to Group Promotions, Merlin Entertainments, Merlin Business Support, Silverglade Business Park, Leatherhead Rd, Chessington KT9 2QL


26. Winners agree to take part in and co-operate fully with reasonable publicity without any fee being payable.


27.
