EVIL parents starved a six-year-old boy to death while they enjoyed ample steak dinners.
Liam Roberts, from Jerseyville, Illinois, weighed 7kg and was found wearing a top made for a 12 month old baby, when he died in November 2017, police said.
His dad Michael Roberts and step-mum Goergena Roberts have been sentenced to a total of 45 years in prison, for withholding food from him as a punishment.
Jerseyville Police Deputy Chief Scott Woelfel said Liam was so badly starved “when he came to school he would literally eat food off the floor”.
And he revealed that Liam had his last full meal one year before he died, the Beville News-Democrat reported.
The youngster had baloney, his step siblings were treated to chicken fingers with fries and his parents enjoyed steak.

Liam’s mum Kim Roberts said in a statement that Michael and Goergena had gone to “extreme measures” to hide the kids from loved ones so no one would find out about the abuse.
It wasn’t until Liam died that medics reported the situation to social services.
After he was arrested, Michael told police he used to sneak his son food, behind Georgena’s back and it would cause them to argue.
Michael told the court he “failed to provide the most basic needs to Liam”.
He added: “Not a day goes by that I don’t regret my failures,” he said, reading from a statement. “Liam was my special little buddy. … I know Liam is dead because I was not brave enough to protect him.”
Georgena told the court: “My heart is shattered. Your honour, I’m sorry for my actions and inactions.”

Judge Eric Pistorious described the case as “incomprehensible”, before adding: “We have to remember that by the actions of these two individuals, Liam’s siblings lost not only a brother, but two parents that won’t be there to see them grow.
“We wish those kids the very best as they try to move forward with their lives,’ persecutors wrote in a statement.”
