Danish police say a rail crash that claimed six lives may have been caused by beer crates falling from a Carlsberg freight train and hitting a passenger train travelling in opposite direction.
Police are investigating whether the falling cargo forced the passenger train to brake suddenly in the fatal accident.
The train was heading from the Funen city of Odense to the capital, Copenhagen, on the island of Zealand.
As well as those killed, police say 16 were injured in the accident and that the passenger train had taken 'considerable damage' but were unable to confirm the exact cause.
