CESC FABREGAS will arrive in Monaco today to finalise his move from Chelsea.
The Spanish World Cup winner is flying to south of France after bidding an emotional farewell to the Blues and the Premier League yesterday.
Fabregas left the Stamford Bridge pitch in tears on Saturday after playing his final game for Chelsea.
The 31-year-old will now reunite with his former Arsenal team-mate in Ligue 1 after ironing out the final details of his switch this afternoon.
It was a bittersweet farewell for the Premier League veteran as he captained Chelseaagainst Forest on Saturday and missed a penalty in his final game at Stamford Bridge.
Luckily for Fabregas, the Blues won the FA Cup third round clash 2-0 after a brace from his heavily criticised countryman Alvaro Morata – although he did have a contender for miss of the season.
With five minutes to go, boss Maurizio Sarri decided to haul the Spaniard off, sending N’Golo Kante to action.
Fabregas received a standing ovation from more than 40,000 gathered at the stadium as he made a tearful farewell to the Blues faithful.
ROMAN’S GOONS Chelsea owner Abramovich could have bought Arsenal instead of Blues but was warned off
After the game the star, who made 501 appearances in total throughout his spells with Arsenal and Chelsea, said: “Time flies, it feels like last week that I started playing professionally and now it’s more than 15 years.
“It goes so fast and you have to be ready every three days, for the criticism with everyone saying how good you are and the ups and downs.

“It feels like growing older it never goes away it is technique. Physicality goes away. Technicality stays with you.”
The move is expected to be confirmed within the 24 hours.
Fabregas has reportedly agreed a two-and-a-half year package and will receive a £9m signing-on bonus.
Monaco have endured a miserable start to the campaign and currently sit second bottom of the French top-flight with just three wins from their 18 matches.

Hayden says: “I don’t have a model’s body, but I’m not one of those crazy girls who thinks that they’re fat. I’m OK with what I have.”
