WWE star Braun Strowman has hit back in defiance after being targeted with abuse for posting a picture of himself grinning next to a dead deer.
RAW superstar Strowman shared an image of himself holding a huge gun grinning alongside the strung up stag after a hunting expedition.
Accompanying the photo he wrote: “Costco for groceries: 300$ Diesel in truck to get to camp 75$ Beer for after the hunt 50$ Q rifle from fix……. you wish you had one!! Memories at hunting camp with your buddies…… priceless”
It led to him receiving what he labelled as “terrorist” abuse on his Instagram page from people outraged with the shooting of the animal.
Strowman, nicknamed the Monster Among Men, is a keen fan of hunting in his spare time.
And the 35-year-old American, real name Adam Scherr, was forced to turn off the comments on his social media post – with has over 109,000 likes – in response to the criticism.
But he refused to apologise for enjoying blood sports and sent out a message of defiance to those who called him out.
Strowman wrote: “Sorry to the people that enjoy this post and were commenting on it showing there support for hunting.
“I turned the comments off because I will not have people be terrorist and try and force there beliefs on me and other people just because what I do isn’t what you like.
“It doesn’t give you the right to tell me that and call me my fans and followers names.

“I don’t go on your page and attack you for what u like to do in life because I don’t like it!!!! #HomieDontPlayDat.”
But his statement was met with a stinging reply by some – with a Twitter user under the name Vegan World Order writing: “You don’t mind forcing your beliefs on innocent animals that you murdered and butchered.”
Strowman has also starred in films, and had a role in the Will Ferrell and John C Reilly movie Holmes and Watson which was released last month.
