IT’S that time of the week where our expert tipsters give us their best bets ahead of another busy Saturday.
The NAPs come from Redcar and Newmarket, and there’s an update following the first week of competition.

It was a tough start for Chappers and Templegate with the Cambridgeshire no easy puzzle to solve.
Matt’s selection Pretty Pollyanna ran no race in the Cheveley Park while Templegate opted for the wrong John Gosden horse as Wissahickon ran out the winner in the big handicap.
Onto week two and the pair are hoping to bounce back at Newmarket and Redcar.
Standings after Week 1
Matt Chapman -1
Templegate -1
Matt Chapman
In terms of class, the big race of Saturday is the Sun Chariot at Newmarket, and once again I think people and the bookmakers are underestimating the power of the Karl Burke-trained LAURENS (3.15).
It might be the Ballydoyle team try and give her a hard time up front, but she doesn’t have to lead and when push comes to shove she’ll take a bit of stopping.
She handled Newmarket no problem at all in the Guineas and is arguably a better filly now.
I believe she should be shorter in the betting than she is and she’s well worth having a few quid on.
Yeeehaaa!
Chapman's picks for the ITV races
1.50 Ascot – Muthmir eachway
2.25 Ascot – First Eleven
3.00 Ascot – Gifted Master
3.35 Ascot – Raising Sand eachway
2.05 Newmarket – Fille de Reve
3.15 Newmarket – Laurens (NAP)
2.45 Redcar – Swissterious eachway
Templegate
My NAP loves it at Redcar and still looks like he’s progressing for Les Eyre.
DAWAALEEB (4.35) is only three pounds higher than his win here three starts back and can strike again under the same jockey James Sullivan.
The form of his Newmarket fourth looks solid, with the second Via Via going well in the Cambridgeshire last weekend.
Templegate's picks for the ITV races
1.50 Ascot – Judicial
2.25 Ascot – First Eleven
3.00 Ascot – Limato
3.35 Ascot – Vale Of Kent
2.05 Newmarket – Perfection
3.15 Newmarket – Laurens
2.45 Redcar – Swissterious

Hayden Panettiere
Size: 8
Age: 18
Height: 5ft 1in
Weight: 8st
To achieve her kick-ass figure, Hayden – who plays cheerleader Claire Bennet in Heroes – follows the ‘quartering’ rule. She eats only a quarter of the food on her plate, then waits 20 minutes before deciding whether she needs to eat again.
Hayden says: “I don’t have a model’s body, but I’m not one of those crazy girls who thinks that they’re fat. I’m OK with what I have.”
Nicollette says: “I don’t like diets – I see it, I eat it! I believe in eating healthily with lots of protein, vegetables and carbs to give you energy.”

SATC star Kim swears by gym sessions with Russian kettle bells (traditional cast-iron weights) and the South Beach Diet to give her the body she wants. To avoid overeating, Kim has a radical diet trick – squirting lemon juice on her leftovers – so she won’t carry on picking.
Kim says: “I am no super-thin Hollywood actress. I am built for men who like women to look like women.”
