She was killed off by her on-screen grandson, Evan Peters, on last week's American Horror Story.

But Dame Joan Collins was very much alive on Saturday evening, as she stepped out in Los Angeles with her husband Percy Gibson.

Vivacious as ever, the actress, 85, attended the Carousel of Hope Ball at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on the arm of her 53-year-old spouse.

Bringing the glam as ever, the actress - who famously laughed off her and Percy's 32-year age gap with the witty quip, 'If he dies, he dies' - slipped into a sparkling silver gown.

The figure-hugging dress fell to the floor and featured statement ruffled sleeves.

The Dynasty star dripped in diamonds, matching the sheen of the glitzy gown.

She wore her raven locks up and added a pop of red lipstick to the look.  

Well known for her famous wardrobe, the Golden Globe winner looked exquisite in the ensemble, which she teamed with a matching silver clutch.

Percy pulled off an equally sleek style in a smart tuxedo.

Joan is happier than ever in the arms of her fifth husband since they tied the knot at Claridge's Hotel, in Mayfair in 2002, sixteen years ago.

Their romance followed the television star's previously turbulent love life and marriages.

Dame Joan was first married to actor Maxwell Reed in 1952 but the couple divorced in 1956. Sparks flew when Joan met 22-year-old actor Warren Beatty in 1959 and the couple were engaged in the early 1960s but they split shortly after. 

Hoping third time was the charm, she mended her heartache with actor and singer Anthony Newley in 1963 and the lovers went on to have two children: Tara and Sacha.

Following their divorce, the Dynasty star got hitched to Ron Kass in 1972 and she welcomed her third child Katyana into the world but their marriage ended in 1983.

Joan then married Swedish singer Peter Holm in a glitzy ceremony in Las Vegas in 1985 but they went their separate ways for good when they divorced in 1987.
