CORRIE fans have been left in stitches over a clip which is sweeping the internet, and appears to show a terrified Liz McDonald running away from the sign language man.
Beverley Callard has starred in Coronation on and off for 29 years, and will have appeared in countless Sunday omnibuses since then – which are always signed by a person in the bottom right-hand corner.
But the 61-year-old soap star appears to have got the shock of her life in this clip, gasping as she stares directly at the man – who has just popped up on the screen.
The funny moment was tweeted by superfan Shane Telford on Monday, who wrote: “Never forget Liz McDonald getting scared by the sign language man”.
The clip is from a 2015 show, and was also shared by hockey Olympian Samantha Quek, who wrote: “I found this funny – Liz McDonald getting scared by the Sign language man in Corrie”.
Some 49,000 people liked and re-tweeted Shane’s post, commenting: “This is one of my favourite moments of all time”, and “Tv gold!”
