PRETTY POLLYANNA is on course for her ‘D-Day’ in the Cheveley Park Stakes on Saturday.
The Michael Bell-trained filly heads the betting for the Group 1 contest and will also bid to cement her position as favourite for next year’s 1000 Guineas.

She won the Princess Of Wales’s Stakes in impressive fashion at Newmarket in July and followed that up with success in the Prix Morny in France last month.
The daughter of Oasis Dream will again lock horns with Queen Mary Stakes winner Signora Cabello at Newmarket this weekend.
She chased Pretty Pollyanna home in the Morny, and Bell views John Quinn’s filly as the main threat again.
Bell said: “The Cheveley Park Stakes is ‘D Day’ for Pretty Pollyanna and it looks a strong race, Signora Cabello merits a lot of respect.

“She has been very straightforward to deal with from the word go and has danced every dance that we wanted her to since she made her debut.
“She had slightly immature knees in the spring, which is perfectly normal at that stage, so we had to back off her for a month.
“It was a bit of a rush to get her to Royal Ascot, but we have had no problems since then.”
Quinn is keen to have another crack at Pretty Pollyanna with Signora Cabello, who is reportedly in top shape.
COMEBACK TRAIL Gold Cup hero Coneygree nearing a return to the track
Quinn said: “It was a fantastic run and a wonderful sight to see those two fillies duelling and pulling clear of the best that was put in front of them.
“Saturday is a different day and on a different track. I’m very happy with our filly.
“Her recent work has been good, so I’m expecting a big run from her.
“She’s the best filly I’ve ever trained, she’s a very, very good two-year-old. She’s the second highest rated two-year-old in Europe so that speaks for itself.”

Two fillies were added to the field at Monday’s confirmation stage, with The Mackem Bullet and Queen Of Bermuda both supplemented for £20,000, meaning 16 runners are still in contention for the £275,000 sprint.
Aidan O’Brien has left in Fairyland, Coral Beach, Gossamer Wings, Just Wonderful and So Perfect.
Lady Kaya and Servalan also represent Ireland, while Angel’s Hideaway, Main Edition, Comedy, Come On Leicester and No Way Jose are also in contention.

Hayden says: “I don’t have a model’s body, but I’m not one of those crazy girls who thinks that they’re fat. I’m OK with what I have.”
Nicollette says: “I don’t like diets – I see it, I eat it! I believe in eating healthily with lots of protein, vegetables and carbs to give you energy.”
