MANCHESTER UNITED have made a take-it-or-leave-it £80million offer for Harry Maguire – as Leicester left him out of their official squad number video.
Other big Foxes names including Jamie Vardy, James Maddison and Youri Tielemans were shown proudly showing off their new shirts in the clip.
But England centre-back Maguire, 26, was nowhere to be seen.
The video was posted at 10am this morning, just before talkSPORT’s Jim White relayed news of United’s new and seemingly final offer.
SunSport told you Maguire is growing increasingly frustrated with Leicester’s insistence he stay.
Man Utd chiefs were said to be locked in talks over a fee for the defender and now are believed to have made a final offer.
That fee, if accepted, would be a new world record for a defender, eclipsing the £75m Liverpool paid for Virgil van Dijk.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer saw an initial £70m bid turned down – and yesterday held crisis talks with Ed Woodward which were centred around pushing for Maguire.
It is believed that Leicester wanted United to pay a bigger chunk of Maguire’s proposed fee up front because they don’t think they will get the cash bonus Champions League qualification brings.
United then offered £72m with extra bonuses paid depending on what trophies they win and also securing Champions League football.
But Foxes hierarchy are not confident the Reds can finish in the top four.

Their fears are based on the fact United have only managed to qualify for the Champions League in three of the past six seasons.
And with Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham all looking stronger, Leicester believe they have to err on the side of caution when it comes to agreeing a bonus structure.
Although Maguire did not star in the video, his name was included in the squad number list and he retains the No 15 jersey… for now.
