GAME Of Thrones’ Nikolaj Coster-Waldau sports a creepy extra arm in a behind the scenes shot posted ahead of the upcoming series.
The star, who plays one-armed Jaime Lannister, sits shirtless in a kitchen area with his real arm across his body and a very realistic prosthetic piece resting on his leg.
Jaime lost his hand in episode three of season three when he was being held prisoner by hunter Locke, who had been hired to recapture the Kingslayer on behalf of the Boltons.
Having persuaded Locke to stop his men raping his fellow prisoner Brienne of Tarth, he was less successful negotiating his own release.
Locke put a blade through Jaime’s sword fighting hand, leaving him screaming in agony.
Despite being plunged into a deep depression, once freed Jaime acquired a golden replacement.
The posting of the pic comes as the most chilling teaser for season eight yet and all signs point to dark times ahead for Jon Snow, Jaime and the rest of Winterfell.

In the opening scene of the short trailer a ragged Direwolf flag can be seen fluttering in the icy breeze before the camera pans around to show the ruined remains of the Stark fortress.
Posting the trailer on Twitter with the words “Fight for the living”, fans of the show immediately started dissecting what could be seen.
Eagle-eyed viewers pointed out the various accessories and weapons of some of the favourite characters tipped to take the Iron Throne.
One helpful follower tweeted a blow-by-blow of the scenes, which included exactly what could be seen.

It includes a dragonglass arrow, Tyrion Lannister’s pin, Arya Stark’s thin sword called Needle and Bran Stark’s broken wheelchair on the bottom of the stairs.
As it draws to an end, viewers can see Jaime’s golden hand lying discarded in the snow, while Daenerys’s dragon chain hangs forgotten from an upturned wheel.
Perhaps most ominous of all is Jon Snow’s beloved sword, Longclaw, which is left almost hidden in a mound of snow.
As soon as the short trailer dropped, Twitter erupted with fans tweeting their replies – many of whom could barely verbalise what they’d just seen and instead left agonising memes.
Those of could still form words after the bombshell video only managed short sentences to express their dismay and fear.
One wrote: “This season is going to destroy me.”
While another added: “why are they doing this to us?”
The eighth and final season of HBO begins on 14th April.
