RYLAN Clark-Neal has hit back at a homophobe who shouted “f*** off you f****t” at him in the street.
The presenter revealed his cowardly verbal attacker quickly ran away when he confronted him after the abuse.
Rylan then mocked the person for “running like Phoebe in Friends” in the one where Rachel gets embarrassed when the pair go jogging in Central Park.
He told his fans on Twitter: “To the p***k on Great Portland Street that just shouted “F*** Off You F*****” at me. “When I shouted you what at you and you run away…. you run like phoebe in friends…”
The 30-year-old and his husband Dan were the first gay couple to ever present This Morning in 2016.
The married couple who tied the knot in 2015 have backed a “coming out” campaign for gay rights with their teenage son in the past. It’s not known if Dan was with Rylan during the attack.
After being abused in the street today, Rylan bravely opened up about his experience on Twitter.
He received hundreds of messages in response from fans telling him to rise above the hate.
One said: “Can’t believe this still goes on! We love you Rylan, ignore the haters!”
Another added: “Good on you for calling him out! However just be careful as there are a lot of dangerous people out there unfortunately.”
Someone else said: “Bitter and jealous of your success Rylan! I would much rather see you on my TV then haters like him #staytrue #beyou.”
While another added: “Omg this is terrible why do they think they have a right to behave like that.
“I hope it’s not upset you rylan, it’s probably some one who is jealous of your achievements.”
