MEGHAN Markle has gushed over possible baby names – revealing she likes the name Amy for her first child with Prince Harry.
The pregnant Duchess of Sussex yesterday let slip she was six months pregnant and is expecting to give birth in April.
And the 37-year-old appeared delighted as fans in Birkenhead yesterday peppered her with questions about her first baby – including what she might name the tot.
Meghan Redford, seven, was among the crowds and said she had given the former actress some potential name ideas.
She told The Times: “I asked her whether she would call her baby Amy if she has a girl and she said ‘That’s a really pretty name, I like it, we’ll have to think about it’.”
The mum-to-be also revealed to well-wishers that she didn’t know the gender of the baby, with she and Prince Harry wanting it to be a surprise.
If the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s baby is born in April, the tot could share a birthday with Prince Louis, who was born on April 23, or even the Queen, who was born April 21, 1926.
The couple were flooded with presents during their visit to Birkenhead yesterday, including a large plush bear for their baby.
Meghan appeared to be prioritising her health during the royal visit, opting to drink mint tea instead of coffee.
But she was not alone – with Prince Harry also saying he is meditating “every day” in the lead up to becoming a dad.

The Duke of Sussex told a Buddhist monk that he can sometimes engage in the calming practice even “twice” on some days.
He also appeared to take a leaf out of his wife’s book as he met with crowds – even hugging some excited fans.
In one particularly sweet encounter, Prince Harry spotted four-year-old Eliza Morris with a sign reading “Gingers Unite – I love you Harry”.
The Prince said: “I love this! Do you love your hair, the sign is amazing!”
