LEEDS are braced to land Real Madrid stopper Kiko Casilla, according to reports.
The 32-year-old is free to leave the Bernabeu having dropped to third choice and has just 18 months left on his contract.
According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, the two clubs have agreed a fee and Casilla will undergo a medical next week.
He could become a Leeds player by next weekend’s league clash at Stoke.
Boss Marco Bielsa has prioritised signing a new stopper in the January transfer window following the serious injury to loanee Jamal Blackman.
The Chelsea stopper broke his leg in November leaving little competition for Bailey Peacock-Farrell between the sticks.

Leeds also looked at Fulham’s Fabri and Newcastle’s Karl Darlow but the clubs couldn’t agree on a fee.
Casilla spent his youth career at Real Madrid before spending the majority of his career at Espanyol.
After a couple of loan stints he returned to Real Madrid in 2015 but the arrival of Thibaut Courtois pushed him further down the pecking order.
If Leeds go get the deal over the line, then it will become a huge boost for the promotion chasers who moved five points clear at the top of the Championship with a 2-0 win over Derby on Friday.
