A spokesman for the actor told Fairfax he would fight the charges.
'Craig is innocent of these charges which will be vigorously defended,' the spokesman said.
McLachlan was accused of misconduct by fellow cast members while playing the lead role of transvestite Dr Frank-N-Furter in the Rocky Horror Show in 2014.
He was accused last year when fellow Rocky Horror star Christie Whelan-Browne, who played the character of Janet, made allegations of sexual misconduct.

The defamation hearing was set down for four weeks from February 4 in the NSW Supreme Court.
McLachlan won the Gold Logie in 1990 as the most popular personality on Australian television.
