FLOYD MAYWEATHER earned a staggering £52,000 per second for his one round demolition of Tenshin Nasukawa in Japan.
Mayweather, 41, dropped Nasukawa, 20, three times before the fight was halted, though the result won’t go on either fighters record as it was an exhibition bout.
Before the fight Mayweather boasted about the $9million (£7m) purse he claims he will receive for his showing in Tokyo.
It took the American just 136 seconds to overwhelm the kickboxer, who was not only making his boxing debut but also competes three stone lighter than Mayweather.
Nasukawa was left in tears after the bout while Mayweather looked in good spirits having showboated for the entirety of the fight.
That means Mayweather would have earned an estimated £52,000 per second in the ring, which is his third highest pay rate per second.

For Mayweather’s last official boxing match, against UFC star Conor McGregor, who like Nasukawa made his boxing debut, the American earned an estimated £236m.
The fight went ten rounds, meaning Mayweather earned a staggering £23.5m a round – roughly £139,804 per second.
Mayweather’s second biggest earner came two years earlier when he outpointed Manny Pacquiao in a fight five years in the making.
Although the fight didn’t live up to the mammoth build up and wait, Mayweather still walked away with an estimated £197m.
The fight went the 12 round distance meaning Mayweather pocketed around £90,000 per second for his 48th career win.
In 2013 after Mayweather outpointed current pound-for-pound contender Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez, the American walked home with an estimated £62.7m.
The reason Mayweather receives such a large fight purse is down to the fact he promotes himself.
This wasn’t always the case, however, as Mayweather spent ten years as a professional signed to legendary promoter Bob Arum under the Top Rank banner.
In 2006 Mayweather would make what turned out to be his wiset career choice as he payed $750,000 to terminate his Top Rank contract as he decided to go his own way.
The self promoted American would go onto to become ‘Money Mayweather’ as he set up his own promotion.
Mayweather would go on to beat Arum’s elite fighters such as Oscar De La Hoya and Pacquiao before he retired with an estimated $1 billion net worth.
